Well, I got 2 pages done! Yeah! But a bigger Yeah is that we got snow! Lots and lots. So I'm not sure how much scrapping I will get done today being we'll be out playing in the snow! Enjoy!!

What Christmas cartoon is it where there elf or someone is saying" Busy, busy, busy, busy."? Well that's me. As I'm sure everyone else too! But I did get a few more pages done. This is more like a December Daily I think.

JYC Day One!

I didn't think I would get one of these babies done til this weekend! But I was sooooo siked, this template kit from Kate Pertiet went on sale at Designer Digitals and I had to grab it. Then I found this adorable kit. The colors I have been looking for. It's called Waiting for Santa. Love it! Love it!

Today I am thankful for God sharing his wisdom with me upon awakening this morning. Did you ever have an "Ah ah" moment? Like a light bulb went off in your head. Is it usually in the morning when you're rested? Is it like someone put these profound and meaningful thoughts into your head? Is it like you're having a conversation with yourself? What do you call it? Well, depending on my mood I suppose it depends what I call it. This morning and often at times I like to think it's God sharing his wisdom with me. Today's bit of wisdom you may be asking... Forgiveness. If we can't forgive and show love and empathy, how can we raise our children to do the same? Ok. maybe that is a "DUH" moment rather than an "Ah ah" moment. But think about it. Is there a situation in your life that just seems to go in circles. Someone has got to break it. Why not it be you?

I have been laid up in bed for just what seems like forever! but I am on the mend and have much catching up to do!:) probably won't happen :D Anyways I visit Ali Edwards blog as many of us do and came across this post that fowarded me to Molly's blog. It's about a prompt on facebook and writing about what you are thankful for as your status each day up til Thanksgiving. I like this idea. I think I might get the boys in on this too! How about you?

I play with the Best!

We had some friends over to play some Texas Holdem last night. Love that game! Who knew. Anyway, my friend MB came and we call her the professional. She's played in the Bahamas at WPT and recently at Foxwoods in 1.5 million dollar tournament! ( Not sure on the amount, but it's up there.)Here she is in her Poker Tournament hat! It was good to see you again MB and hope you guys start coming around more to play.

They're back!

OMG!! Leggings are back. I'm not sure if this is good or not. But, let me back up. my sister calls me. We're five years apart and I think pretty darn cloase to each other. Ther's alot of kidding around. For example, we like to see which can get the other to eat all that bad fattening stuff!! lol. Any way, she calls me and tells me she just found these great pair of leggings! I think... Ughhh, gross. She tell me they're great, they look like jeans. You know those skinny jeans. Okay, She's got me interested now. Oh yeah she goes, " They look great in those high boots you can't stick your jeans in. The kind you want to show. I tell her, " Hey, i got two pair of those boots I haven't worn in 2 years!" Oh, and they will fit nicely in those EMU's ( like the Uggs). Really... Mmmmmm. How much were they and where did you get them? She tells me, I make plans to go first thing in the morning. What size you get? This store clothes happen to run big on me. She got size Medium. Well, if you got a medium then I must need a small I say. No,no you're a medium she continues to tell me. In fact she goes on to say, You're a BIG medium, and I'm a small medium!!! Ha!So on it goes. For about two minutes back and forth, laughing as to who is the bigger medium!! Well, in the morning I go to the store and start looking. My little one in the background, "Can we go yet?".Shhhh. My heart starts to sink, I can't find the wonderful leggings that will make me look skinny!!! hehe! Well, maybe I can go swipe a pair of my sisters. My eyes scan the racks. JACKPOT!! Yes!! I found them. I grab all 3 colors. So cute. Ok, Mom will pay and we can go home and wash these babies and hope they fit!!

Five Things Right Now

Day 3 at Shimelle's... make a list of 5 favorite things. So, I thought I'd list 5 things I am grateful for right now.

1.Jesus: for loving me.
2.My husband: who also loves me and puts up with me too. Just like Jesus!
3.My 2 boys: You guessed it. They love me too and yep, they also put up with me!
4.The smell of fall: Mmmm, I love to walk outside and you can smell the leaves, the crisp air. Thanks to God
5. My new leggings! hehe! That's for the next post...

Day two Blogging for Scrapbookers

This is my subject for today's prompt. I had started last week but never got around to finishing. When printed, I have some extra journaling that will go behind the layout. As of now I am happy with it. I really fret over my journaling. Hoping it will sound right. Is it worded perfectly? This time I just typed without thinking it through first.

Blogging for Scrapbookers Begins!

Today is the first day of the Blogging for Scrapbookers class. This class seems perfect for me. I am horrible when it comes to writing down thoughts. Putting thoughts into words. And, scrapbooking pictures and the words you put down is sooo important. I want to be able to leave my thoughts and feelings (along with some pictures) behind after I'm gone. I wish the words and thoughts of my loved ones were left behind for me.
Another great class I've taken is Type+Writer @ Jessica Sprague. Another of my favorites. I've taken a bunch of her classes and loved them all.
So, a big Hello to all visiting from Shimelle's class. I hope to keep it interesting for you.
Today, I did took the " Little to NO Time" route being my little one is home sick with the dreaded fever and cough.
I got a quick pic of my puter that I work on. And another of my favorite little netbook that I will be reading everyones blog on while snuggled in bed! hehe

Pumpkin Carving Puffle Style

Anthony decided he wanted to carve a pumpkin the night before Halloween. So off to Shoprite we went in search for the perfect pumpkin! All the farms were closed at this point and all I had at home were craft pumkpkins!
So Saturday afternoon he printed his template and Dad helped with the carving.
And voila, one puffle pumpkin. They are these little round fuzzy creatures from Club Penguin. An online game.
Of course, it wasn't complete without a pic of the pumpkin and his stuffed puffles!

Blogging for Scrapbookers

I'm starting a new class online. It's Blogging for Scrapbookers over at Shimelle.com
I'm hoping this will help me with my much needed journaling skills and keeping me up to date with blogging. Looks like it will be fun!
I took the Journal Your Christmas class last year and loved it! There will be one this year too. Check it out here. It is alot of fun and gets those creative juices flowing!

This is of the Corn Maze in Ringoes. I love corn mazes. We have a blast. The weather was beautiful. I love the smell of Fall. My favorite time of year!

The 100 Step Challenge

I found a challenge that I can handle. I'm a bit behind on " a photo a day" challenge. By about 2 months now! lol. There was a post on Shutter Sisters which sounds like fun. Having to do with photograher's block. Taking a 100 steps and capturing your photo. You can find the post here.
I'll try this later today and will hopefully post a pic later.
Maybe this challenge will help in " a photo a day".

Lately one of those artists who puts those words into someting wonderfully expressive for us is Bart Millard from Mercy me. This one review can sum it up...

Bart Millard could be the best song writer out there today. He is so genuine in his love for the Lord that it warms my heart to see that there IS still good music out there that you wouldn't be embarassed to have your children listen to.

So... to the layout. This happened to be playing on the radio as I turned it on. Which was very fitting for that exact moment. Mmmm. Oddly , a song from Mercy Me was the last thing I heard on the radio coming home from a meeting at work last night too. My mind racing with recent family events. Anyway, I've been meaning to do something with these pictures I've taken across the street. It was an early foggy morning. eerry and beautiful at the same time. So, I put the words to " Bring the Rain" and the photo together. Real quick.

Happy New Year !!! ok... I'm really way behind but Happy 2009 none the less. I didn't quite get to finish my Christmas Journal past New Years but I did get alot done and all is good with that.
I have tons of pics still on my card and as soon as they're downloaded and fixed I will post to highlight some recent events.
The kids are good and are actually at a sleepover which is the only reason why I have a few minutes to blog. I just logged onto facebook last night. I have not quite figured that out yet and I'm not sure if I'll keep up with that either.
